Jay Allred

Jay Allred is a native of Burlington, North Carolina. He obtained a B.A. degree in Computer Information Science from Elon University, where he received a Presidential Scholarship. He worked for Piedmont Airlines and USAir before starting his own business, Triad Golf Today and Triangle Golf Today. He coaches women’s golf at Reagan High School in Pfafftown, NC. In the last decade since moving to 4A, his teams have won ten straight conference championships, six regional titles, one state team title, and two individual state titles. However, he prides himself on a greater accomplishment in those years: every player has attended and graduated from college. He served on the boards of Optimist Soccer, Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour, Walter H. Lemmond Alumni Association, and the Elon University Executive Alumni Board.
