Alex Thomas

Alex Thomas is a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studies political science. He writes for the Carolina Review, UNC’s conservative/libertarian publication. He also serves as the Review's online editor and maintains the publication’s website, www.carolinareview.org. In addition to his time with the Carolina Review, he is the chairman of finance for the UNC College Republicans. His hometown is Weddington, North Carolina, and he is a recipient of the Eagle Scout award, which he earned in 2011.
