Derek Spicer

Derek Spicer is a recent graduate of North Carolina State University, where he obtained a bachelor of arts degree in political science, with a concentration in American politics. Derek helped start NC State’s chapter of Young Americans for Liberty (YAL), a non-profit organization that seeks to recruit, train, educate, and mobilize students on the ideals of liberty and the Constitution. He was the YAL chapter president during his final semester in 2012. He also spent three years as a Resident Adviser (RA) at NC State. Derek joined the Pope Center in August 2012, and he currently resides in Apex, North Carolina.
